If there is one image that speaks to our vision of freedom and independence it is the Lone Cypress tree standing on a granite hillside off California's scenic 17-mile drive in Pebble Beach. In the late 1800’s, journalist R. Fitch marveled that this “solitary tree has sunk its roots in the crevices of the wave-washed rock, and defies the battle of the elements that rage about it during the storms of winter." What incredible imagery that is true of this Cypress tree and a perfect metaphor for the qualities of a great financial advisor. We strive to partner with “Cypress” advisors that have the ability to stay firmly rooted in their ethics and beliefs under the incredible pressure of market volatility and client emotions. Contrasting with the imagery of the strength and independence of the Lone Cypress is the incredible beauty and calm of the tree and it’s surroundings. The Affiliated Advisor Solution allows advisors to run their financial business under their own brand, out of their own location, with the full support and structure of Cypress Capital Advisors. Under this model, Cypress Capital provides SEC registration, compliance oversight, technology, transition management, succession planning, institutional research and discounted money management, and consults with the advisor on everything from branding, social media, web site development, employee benefits, office space leasing and design. This model provides the advisor the freedom to create their own culture and brand while eliminating the hassle of many of the productivity and growth detractors associated with launching an RIA.

Payouts range from 80% – 90% and include the following at no additional cost.

Raymond James Financial provides trust services, insurance services, wealth management solutions, securities based lending, banking services, equity research and much more. Advisors on the Cypress Capital platform have access to all of the tools, services, and investments as a full service Raymond James advisor.

Advisors at Cypress Capital own 100% of their book of business and are free to move, sell, or handle succession on their own terms.

Our transition manager has over 18 years of experience in the wire house and RIA channel. In addition, our custodial partner provides a 40 person team to ensure a smooth transition.

Cypress Capital compliance works with advisors (not against them) to develop a process that can be compliant, yet operationally efficient. Our Chief Compliance Officer has over 20 years of compliance experience, serving as the CCO of a major asset management firm for the last 16 years.

When an advisor’s production is greater than $500,000, the advisor can participate in the Cypress Capital Advisor stock plan.

Cypress Capital Advisor’s four member investment team has over 80 years of combined research and institutional asset management experience and manages both strategic and tactical equity and fixed income models. Advisors joining Cypress Capital can access and white label all of the models that we offer for the discounted price of 15 basis points. For assets invested in the models, CCA will also handle the trading for no additional cost. This can free up advisors to spend time servicing clients and growing their practice.
